Booking/Planning Fees

As a travel professional, I get paid by the supplier *after* you have returned home from your vacation.Sometimes this is months - or even years after the majority of the work is done.Quoting takes a considerable amount of time and I want to be sure I am using my time efficiently and dealing with Clients who are serious about their bookings. This booking fee is being introduced to allow me to optimize my work schedule.

What does my booking/planning fee cover? It includes me doing all, or most (let’s be honest, everyone always does a little bit of searching on their own) of the research including finding the best value for the price paid, ensuring it’s the best fit you’re your needs, as well as providing you with personal recommendations on things to do and places to see that would enhance your trip. Basically, I will do all of the heavy lifting for you including researching, (which can take hours) then presenting you some ideas and working with you to ‘tweak’ those ideas to make them your perfect fit, making and confirming your reservations, and pretty much any other required items before, during, and after your trip. Most of these recommendations are based on my personal travels (both leisure and work-related, at my own expense) and the endless hours of training and destination updates required to stay current.

In addition to the above, I also supply all your documents via one email so they are all in one place and/or provide paper copies or both if needed; and I give you all the information you need to travel to your destination like entry and exit requirements, and information you need to enter and exit Canada. I also monitor the current travel situation for your journey from the time you book until the time you are back home. I monitor your flights while you are traveling to ensure that you get where you need to be when you're supposed to, and on those occasions that the airline decides you need some unplanned adventure in your journey, I help you get on the next flight, get a hotel booked, start an insurance claim, etc.

As my past clients can attest, I don’t stop working for you when you pay for your trip. I am still with you from the time you leave your home to the time you step foot back into it, and even past that if you need me!

All booking (services fees) noted below are in addition to any fees charged by the supplier of your product and are payable at time of the start of our travel conversation. **No charge for children 17 years & under on the same booking.
